Readers,
To make this curry clicked in mind when I was very lazy to make food and I was wishing if Andhra Mess would around the residential area. And then thought that why cant I make this curry to get the feeling about Andhra Mess food and so opened the Fridge and found that Ivy Gourds are already available at home. So started trial my recipe and believe me it came awesome. If you don't trust me, knock my door and ask for it :) anytime, albeit availability of Ivy gourd at home.
Coccinia grandis, the ivy gourd, also known as baby watermelon, little gourd, gentleman's toes or gherkin is a tropical vine. It is also known as Cephalandra indicaand Coccinia indica and Kunduri in Hindi, Tondle in Marathi, Tendli in Konkani, Tindora or Giloda Gujarati, Thonde kaayi in Kannada, Kovakkai in Malayalam, and Dondakaaya in Telugu

So let us start how to make recipe :
Ingredients :
Ivy Gourd 500 gms
Oil for frying
Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Cumin Seed Powder 1 tsp
3 tbsp Corn Flour
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
cumin seeds,mustard seeds,Curry Leaves for tampering
Green Chilies in vertical cut 2
Ginger-Garlic Paste
Methods :
First all wash and cut the Ivy gourds in desire shape but in thin layer, I cut in round shape.
Heat the oil in a pan. Meanwhile, mix flours,powders, ginger garlic paste. Add salt according to taste.
If you wish, you can add 1 tsp oil for not to feel sticky to hands.
Once Oil became hot for frying , drop the mixture in the oil. Adjust the flame temperature according to your gas stove.
Deep fry until golden colour. Remove from pan and put on kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
Once you finish your frying, take another pan pour 1 tbps oil. Once it became hot, add cumin seeds,mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilies.Add fried ivy gourds and mix well properly.
Keep in pan for 2 mins and remove from gas stove and serve with Curd Rice, Plain Rice.
