Malai Kulfi

It was awesome day in Summer and we had guests at home. I made Malai Kulfi and you can't believed that every body praised for my kulfi and I delighted alot. :)
Basically, kulfi can be made with variety of ingrendients and procedure. I prefer to follow basic steps, but you can find different procedures for this kulfi ice cream.

Servings : 4


Full Fat Milk 2 ltr
Whipping Cream 1/2 ltr
Sugar 250 gms ( but you can change measurement according to your sweetness of sugar)
Bread White 1 slice (optional)
Almonds powder 1/2 cup
Almonds pices  2 tbsp
Pistachios 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts 2tbsp
Green cardamoms powder 1 tsp
Saffron few strands.

Procedure :

1. First of all , take heavy bottom pan and pour milk , whipping cream and sugar and stir for 1/2 hrs to get think consistency.

2. Mean while soak saffron in milk for 10 mins.

3.Also grind bread slice in fine liguid form in blender with the help of milk. Once milk gets thicken , add bread sliced liquid .(Optional)

4. Add saffron and dry fruits and stir well for another 10-15 mins.

5. Check the sweetness of milk. You can add sugar , if you want.

6. Remove milk from gas and cool completely then pour milk into kulfi moulds or you can serve as malai ice cream after cutting into pieces. So keep this milk for 12 hrs in deep freezer area.

Before serving, pour hot water onto mould or box so that it can remove easily and serve it after decorating with crushed ground powder of dry fruits. :)

PS : This recipe contains nuts. Please avoid nuts if you are allergic to nuts.
