Garam Masala


Cumin seeds 150 gm
Black Cardamom seeds 50 gm
Cinnamon 25 gm
Cloves 25 gm
Peppercorns 25 gm
Bay leaves 4-5

Today we will learn how to make Garam Masala. It is a roasted spices, ground together to make a aromatic masala.

Method :

Dry roast all ingredients in a Fry Pan or you can place them over an oven to get rid them of any moisture.
Cool them. Then grind them to a powder in a mixer grinder in a fine powder.
Store in an airtight container.
